Job summary

Phoenix Technologies is seeking a Data Scientist specialized in transaction monitoring to join our team. You will develop and improve the transaction monitoring data model and work with large-scale data pipelines.

The role requires strong Python and PySpark skills, 4+ years of experience, and a Master’s degree in a STEM field; English proficiency and good communication are essential. Nice-to-have Databricks and Azure experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency with Python and PySpark.
• Professional proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Information Studies or a comparable STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the transaction monitoring data model for global data sources.
• Write and optimise production-ready PySpark code to process large data flows at scale.
• Help build and maintain a monorepository and onboard new regions to the data model.
• Coordinate with data producers across Rabobank to ensure data quality and availability.
• Collaborate with developers creating transaction monitoring logic, providing reliable data.
