Job summary

Cargolux is hiring for a cargo bookings role based at Schiphol Airport. You will manage quotations, reservations and bookings in coordination with our head office to ensure space and uplift guarantees for freight.

The ideal candidate has exposure to a cargo booking office, strong organizational skills, and fluent Dutch and English, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• General schooling certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in a cargo booking office is a must.
• Operational knowledge relevant to logistics.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, assertiveness and teamwork.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills; PC literate in Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, reservations and bookings for cargo shipments in coordination with headquarter.
• Assess feasibility of freight transport requests (cargo type, dimensions, destination).
• Handle customer service requests related to bookings and coordinate with ground handling/trucking partners.
• Update accepted cargo details in Cargolux System to support tracing and final invoicing.
