Job summary

GCS Recruitment’s client seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Amsterdam to join a large organisation. This hands-on role is on-premises, taking ownership of infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and critical databases within a live data center.

You’ll handle hardware, storage, networking and private cloud, ensuring stability and performance while delivering within a structured sprint. Contract length is 6 months with extensions on a multi-year project.

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic team within a large organisation. In this role, you'll be working in a hands-on on-premise environment, supporting and improving a live data center setup while taking ownership of infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and critical database systems.

You'll be involved in everything from physical hardware (servers, storage, networking) through to Kubernetes operations helping ensure stability, performance, and strong delivery within a structured sprint setup.
