Doghouse Recruitment is partnering with an independent energy trading firm in the Netherlands to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. You will maintain a hybrid Azure-based platform that runs 24/7 for traders, focusing on stability and security.

You will split time around 60% building infrastructure and 40% running the platform, in a hybrid setup with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home. The role offers €100K gross per year, with HSM sponsorship and the 30% ruling possible for eligible

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an Infrastructure, Platform or DevOps Engineer
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• 3+ years of experience with Grafana, Prometheus or Loki
• Solid experience with Terraform
• Experience with Azure; Hyper‑V and Windows are a plus

Ready to shape the hybrid infrastructure of a 24/7 energy trading firm?

My client is an independent energy trading company, active on European power and gas markets. It is a tech-driven firm of around 100 people, data engineers, data scientists and software engineers who develop their own tools for the traders. These tools and systems run 24/7, so stability and security come first.

As Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you join a small infrastructure team that runs the platforms developers build and run their applications on. The environment is hybrid: roughly half on-prem on Azure Local, half in Azure. You split your time between building (about 60%) and running and administering the platform (40%).

Your responsibilities:

• Managing the infrastructure code with Terraform: building and running the platform
• Running and further developing the Kubernetes (AKS) environment
• Managing monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
• Platform administration: helping developers, handling incidents and root-cause analysis, and joining a light on-call rotation

Your profile:

Salary & benefits:
