Job summary

EMW, Inc. in The Hague, NL seeks a Principal Technician (ICT Systems) for on-site ICT installation, maintenance, and end-user support.

The role includes 24/7 on-call duties to ensure continuous service operations and system reliability. Requirements include NATO SECRET clearance, 3 years post-qualification experience (or 5 with secondary education), and hands-on expertise with hardware/software configuration and network troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET clearance is required.
• 3 years post-related experience with higher vocational training, or 5 years with secondary education.
• 3+ years' experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization.
• Proven experience configuring hardware and software.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in ICT systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and end-user technical support.

Responsibilities

• Design, verify and document moderately complex software configurations for deployment.
• Configure system software parameters to maximise throughput and efficiency.
• Install and test new versions of system software.
• Provide network maintenance and diagnose faults using approved methods and tools.
• Install or remove hardware/software and handover to client with proper documentation.
• Record installation details and assist users with escalation as needed.
