Job summary

n8n is seeking a Senior Growth Engineer to ideate, build, and iterate on product experiences that convert users into long‑term customers. You’ll own high‑impact parts of the Cloud journey, from signup to onboarding and billing, using experimentation and data to improve activation and retention.

This is a hands‑on engineering role on a growth team that collaborates with product, design, data, marketing, and engineering to accelerate self‑serve growth across Europe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full‑stack engineering experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Vue or React (plus HTML/CSS/UI libraries).
• Own growth metrics: product activation, retention, or revenue, on a growth or PLG team at a SaaS company.
• Shipped experiments from hypothesis to ship/kill decision.
• Product‑mindset: ship without a PM and make the right call most of the time; can talk to users when needed for signal.
• Data fluency: query data yourself and make decisions from user behaviour and experiments.

Responsibilities

• Ship high‑impact experiments – design, build, and A/B test new features to increase conversion and retention.
• Drive measurable business outcomes – impact ARR, retention, and growth KPIs; track performance and iterate.
• Scale growth systems – build and optimize services for user growth at scale (in‑app messaging, billing, email orchestration).
• Improve and maintain growth‑critical features – own signup, onboarding, and admin dashboard.
