Job summary

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform and is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer to advance our hyperscaler infrastructure in Amsterdam. You will optimize GPU compute and InfiniBand networks, work with QEMU/KVM virtualization, and scale the core platform for multi-GPU HPC deployments.

You will partner with hardware virtualization and device emulation efforts, drive automation, and help ensure high performance and security across complex systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in system-level software development focusing on performance optimization and low-level programming.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of server architecture, including PCIe devices, NICs, Linux OS/Kernel, and HPC systems.
• Strong proficiency in performance-oriented programming languages (C/C++, Go, Python).

Responsibilities

• Tuning the performance of GPU clusters and InfiniBand networks for HPC and GPU-based environments.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting root causes related to GPUs and InfiniBand networks; proposing corrective actions.
• Integrating new hardware into the infrastructure, including support for new GPU hardware via Kubernetes, QEMU, and KVM.
• Enhancing automation systems for proactive monitoring, detecting, and resolving issues in GPU/InfiniBand environments.
• Configuring and managing GPU devices and InfiniBand fabrics for efficient, reliable operation.
