Job summary

Nebius Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build Nebius Serverless AI — a GPU-native platform for deploying inference endpoints, batch jobs, and AI workloads. You will own architecture, drive design decisions, and mentor teammates in a high-ownership, end-to-end role.

You’ll work from the Amsterdam or London office, hybrid, collaborating with product, infra, and GTM teams to translate customer needs into a robust technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of Go and Kubernetes with hands-on experience.
• Proven ability to drive architecture decisions and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core components of the Serverless platform: control plane, scheduler, runtime, autoscaler, and APIs.
• Own hard engineering problems: cold-start latency, GPU scheduling under contention, multi-tenant isolation.
• Set technical direction, draft design docs, and align the team behind chosen approaches.
• Raise engineering bar through code reviews and design reviews; lead by example.
• Operate the service like an SRE: define SLOs, observability, incident response, postmortems.
• Collaborate with Product, GTM, and infra to translate customer needs into a roadmap.
