Job summary

L'Oréal is seeking a Facility Manager for the Netherlands office in Amsterdam. The role leads a large on-site team, oversees daily facilities operations, and ensures a safe, compliant workplace across reception, cleaning, catering, and related services.

You will manage budgets with financial rigor, supervise staff, and coordinate with Benelux Facility Manager to deliver efficient, sustainable facilities while maintaining a five-day on-site presence and strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience leading a substantial team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and budgetary rigor.
• Native or fluent Dutch with professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise facility staff to ensure high-quality work and adherence to standards.
• Lead and develop a large on-site facility team.
• Oversee daily operations of all facilities (reception, security, cleaning, catering) and ensure safety and health compliance.
• Manage facility budgets and expenses with financial rigor.
• Develop processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of facility operations.
• Maintain records and documentation related to facility management.
• Act as main point of contact between divisions, vendors, and contractors.
