Job summary

Octatube is seeking an experienced façade installer to work on glass and steel façades and roofs for distinctive projects in the Netherlands and abroad. You will install, verify against drawings, and coordinate with team members and the project coordinator on site.

You bring solid installation experience, the ability to read drawings quickly, a precise working style, and a practical mindset. A valid VCA certificate and driving licence B are required; Dutch language ability is essential.

Qualifications

Solid practical experience in façade installation and related construction work.
Ability to read technical drawings and verify installations against plans.
Strong focus on precision, quality, and safe site practices.
Willingness to take the lead when required and coordinate teammates.
Good teamwork and communication on site with diverse partners.
Dutch language comprehension for on-site instructions and safety.

Responsibilities

Install bespoke façades and roofs made of glass and steel, both independently and as part of a team.
Interpret technical drawings and ensure installation matches drawings, measurements and planning.
Contribute to practical, workable installation methods and site procedures.
Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organised construction site.
Monitor quality during execution and address issues promptly.
Coordinate with the project coordinator on progress and on-site issues.
Guide colleagues or external partners on site when needed.
