Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Rotterdam, NL, is seeking a Senior Business Support Specialist to partner with Vice Presidents and senior leaders. This role emphasizes proactive coordination of priorities, obstacle removal, and high-quality administrative support to enable strategic outcomes.

You will operate in a hybrid setting with three days in the office and collaborate with a small team reporting to the Supervisor Business Support.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in executive or business support within an international organization.
• College or university degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Fluent English; Dutch or another European language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex calendars, priorities and scheduling for senior leaders and their teams.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, team forums and business reviews, including agendas, logistics and follow-up actions.
• Act as a trusted point of contact and gatekeeper, using sound judgment to balance competing priorities.
• Arrange domestic and international travel, expenses and visa requirements.
• Lead or support departmental events, workshops, town halls and cross-functional projects.
• Ensure accurate administration of service invoices and Purchase-to-Pay activities.
