FairPlay Engineering in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Engineer Secondary - High Voltage to lead the design of secondary systems for HV substations and contribute to critical energy projects.

You will translate requirements into detailed designs, develop protection, control, SCADA, and monitoring solutions, and ensure compliance with standards and safety across concept to execution.

Collaborate with experienced engineers and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-evolving sector.

Formación

• Bachelor's HBO degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing HV/MV systems.
• Strong knowledge of reliability, availability, maintainability and safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Translate designs into detailed technical designs and project plans.

Senior Engineer Secondary - High Voltage

Are you an experienced electrical engineering professional with a passion for high-voltage infrastructure and the energy transition? We are looking for a Senior Engineer Secondary - High Voltage to play a key role in the design and development of secondary systems for high-voltage substations, supporting critical projects that contribute to a more sustainable and reliable energy future.

What You'll Do

• Translate functional designs and project requirements into detailed technical designs and project plans.
• Design secondary systems, including protection, control, SCADA, and monitoring solutions for high-voltage substations.
• Develop and verify integrated engineering solutions in line with technical standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and validate technical documentation, calculations, drawings, and execution packages.
• Support the Lead Engineer and Technical Manager throughout all project phases, from concept and basic design to detailed execution.
• Identify design challenges, perform quality checks, and contribute to effective problem-solving within project teams.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing complex high-voltage and medium-voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of requirements related to system availability, reliability, maintainability, and safety.
• Experience with secondary engineering disciplines including protection, control, SCADA, and monitoring systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
