Job summary

JD Talent Stream is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager focused on Energy & Sustainability for the Netherlands and BeNeLux. The role combines new-client development with strategic solution design, working with internal technical and engineering specialists.

Travel to customers is regular, with a flexible/hybrid working model. You will build relationships with senior stakeholders, identify opportunities, and develop commercially attractive energy efficiency and building-solutions offers

Qualifications

Experience in business development, sales or key account development.
Track record of developing new customer opportunities.
Ability to understand technical and commercial solutions.
Consultative and entrepreneurial approach.
Fluent Dutch and good English.
Energy/EPC/Energy-as-a-Service related experience valuable but not essential.
Technical or engineering qualification is helpful.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
Understand customer energy, sustainability and infrastructure priorities.
Develop commercially attractive solutions with internal technical teams.
Manage opportunities from initial discussion through to contract.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Coordinate proposals, presentations and commercial negotiations.
Work across sectors such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, logistics and commercial property.
