Job summary

Fluence, a global leader in energy storage and software for renewables, seeks a Senior Sales Engineer (m/f/d) to support the EMEA Sales team by translating customer requirements into optimized energy storage solutions and compelling technical proposals.

You will act as trusted technical advisor, guide customers through the sales process, support contract negotiations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver turnkey storage projects across the region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar technical discipline.
At least two years’ relevant professional work experience in the power industry.
Ability to solve complex technical problems and effectively communicate results.
Experience with CRM and engineering tools (e.g. Salesforce, CAD).
Knowledge of local standards and regulations in energy storage.

Responsibilities

Translate customer requirements into optimized energy storage solution proposals with EMEA sales teams.
Develop deep understanding of energy storage platforms and provide technical support and product guidance.
Assist in development and management of sales tools and materials.
Lead in evaluating proposals from installation contractors for turnkey delivery.
Work with Sales to negotiate technical aspects of contracts.
Capture customer requirements to shape roadmaps.
Support designs to meet local codes and standards.
Travel throughout EMEA.
