Job summary

Delta Energy Systems seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to grow its Energy Infrastructure business in Europe, focusing on Energy Storage System applications across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects. You will partner with sales to address client needs with technical proposals and simulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in electrical engineering, 3–5 years in energy storage, and fluency in German and English. Occasional travel and driving license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, power system engineering, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience with Energy Storage Systems and system integration knowledge.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Certificate to work in 1000VAC and 1500VDC is an advantage.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in an international team.
• Willing to travel and hold a driving license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to clients in the sales process.
• Understand client requirements to propose products or solutions addressing needs.
• Develop technical proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate terms from a technical perspective.
• Deliver technical simulations and demonstrate Delta’s capabilities in scenarios.
• Support CRM activities and drive deal closures by proving product value.
• Bridge customer requirements with solution management and development teams.
• Assist site surveys with technical teams, partners, and customers.
• Monitor grid codes and market trends to identify opportunities.
