Job summary

Aurora Energy Research Limited in Amsterdam, Netherlands, seeks an Advisory (Senior) Associate in Origination to help clients secure bankable route-to-market arrangements for PPAs, BESS and hybrid assets. You will evaluate offtake strategies, run tender processes and support negotiations through to contract close.

Reporting to the Head of Origination, you will combine commercial judgment with analytical rigour, lead workstreams, prepare client materials and contribute to Aurora's origination

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in electricity sector or equivalent
• Strong understanding of renewable generation, BESS and hybrid assets
• Experience assessing offtake structures and revenue streams
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Support route-to-market evaluation for standalone and hybrid assets
• Identify and develop client opportunities with Head of Origination
• Support PPA, FPA, tolling, floor and hybrid contracts processes
• Assess market revenues, risk allocation, and bankability implications
• Lead workstreams and project teams for rigorous commercial analysis
• Prepare client-facing materials and transaction-support deliverables
• Contribute to development of origination toolkit and templates
