Job summary

Aurora Energy Research Limited seeks a (Senior) Analyst to join the Amsterdam team, shaping power market forecasts for the Netherlands and Belgium. You will perform quantitative and policy analysis, delivering data-driven insights to utilities, developers, investors and government.

You will work closely with modelling teams, present findings in client workshops, and contribute to strategic studies on grid development, renewables and energy infrastructure opportunities.

Qualifications

University degree in a quantitative subject with policy interest.
Ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data.
Strong written and spoken communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Develop timely quantitative analyses to aid client decisions.
Create long-term Dutch/Belgian power market scenarios using in-house models.
Collaborate with modelling and policy teams to derive insights.
Present findings to clients in workshops and webinars.
Expand research topics and analytical tools through trend identification.
