Job summary

Arcadis seeks an Energy Marshall to lead electrical safety across HV/MV/LV sites, audit switching operations, and issue safety permits. You will oversee Authorized Persons and drive safety plans in line with regulations, with potential international travel.

The role blends hands-on audits with policy development, ensuring energisation strategies and safe work practices for high voltage installations in a global engineering setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to build and manage Energisation Strategy and the Electrical Safety Plan.
• Experience with Electricity at Work Regulations.
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement electrical safety documentation.
• Audit and review site switching schedules, including power on, isolation, and earthing of high voltage apparatus.
• Audit and review AP Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitation of Access documents.
• Attend client meetings, resolve operational issues, mentor team members, assist in outage programmes.
• Take full responsibility for the site Electrical safety plan and legislation compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and project staff to ensure safety standards.
