SGL System in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to own embedded software across Linux-based platforms, mentored leadership, and architectural guidance. You will collaborate with hardware, electronics, and systems teams to deliver reliable, high-performance software that scales with product roadmaps.

You will apply AI and modern tools to improve code quality, testing, and debugging, leveraging Yocto and C/C++ in production environments to drive sustained system excellence.

Formación

• 8+ years of relevant software development experience, with depth and impact.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Systems & Control, Robotics, or equivalent.
• Strong Embedded Linux, Yocto, and C/C++ experience in production environments.
• Experience using AI tools in software development and AI/ML in embedded systems is advantageous.
• 3+ years leading technical teams; familiar with Agile/Scrum.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a small team of engineers, with capacity planning and sprint goals.
• Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C++ and Embedded Linux; leverage Yocto.
• Drive software lifecycle from architecture to testing, integration, and release.
• Bridge engineering and product management; translate requirements into technical roadmaps.
• Actively leverage AI tools to improve code quality, testing, and development efficiency.
• Improve system reliability through data-driven debugging and CI improvements.
