Job summary

TOPIC Embedded Systems is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer who takes DevOps ownership of CI/CD and tooling. You will design and develop complex embedded software for high-tech machines, collaborating with senior engineers and domain experts in a hybrid Netherlands-based environment.

You will improve the engineering workflow, automate builds, and contribute to developer experience while maintaining excellent software quality and performance in demanding timing constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in embedded/high-tech environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and build environments.
• Strong C++ design and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and verify subsystems, modules, and components within complex embedded systems.
• Integrate software into complex hardware and software systems.
• Apply OOP, UML, unit testing, and modern design principles.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automate builds/tests.
