Job summary

The Zign Group is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team of embedded hardware and software engineers. You will translate customer requirements into high-quality technical solutions and guide the team through architecture, design, and testing to ensure successful delivery to clients in the Netherlands.

You will partner with stakeholders and drive ongoing improvement while fostering a collaborative and safe team environment.

Qualifications

Experience with structured development processes across requirements analysis, system design, integration and test methods.
Strong architecture, system modelling and design skills (UML, Yourdon).
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming.
Experience with C on ARM microcontrollers (STM/Nordic).
Experience with wireless technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC).
Experience with embedded Linux and RTOS (FreeRTOS).
Knowledge of communication protocols (RS-485, SPI, I2C).
10 years of relevant work experience.
BSc / MSc level education.
Dutch and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead the multi-disciplinary embedded hardware/software team to translate customer requirements into quality technical solutions.
Create and communicate product architecture vision and ensure implementation aligns with it.
Foster cooperation, safety and a positive team atmosphere to ensure successful delivery.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and manage interfaces between team and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement and learning within the team.
