Job summary

Siemens Mobility in The Hague is seeking a Lead Engineer Electrical for datacenter power distribution. You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The role includes coordinating with project management, procurement and site teams, acting as the technical focal point for customers and stakeholders, and guiding deliverables through the project lifecycle. English fluency is required; Dutch knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering with at least 7 years of multidisciplinary electrotechnical project experience.
• Experience with low/medium voltage switchgear, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations per IEC 61439.
• Proven ability to prepare technical reports and test plans.
• Fluent in English; EU national with Dutch language knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Ensure technical alignment across project disciplines and designs.
• Coordinate with project management, procurement, document control and site teams.
• Act as technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Review and guide engineering deliverables throughout project lifecycle.
• Support engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of power distribution systems.
• Manage technical scope, quality, planning and budgets.
• Visit factories and project sites for testing and meetings.
