Job summary

Siemens in The Hague seeks a Lead Engineer Electrical to drive the technical execution of complex power distribution projects for data centres. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

You will collaborate with project management, procurement, and field teams, travel to sites, and develop engineering plans, reports and tests while coaching engineers in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 7 years of work experience as (lead) engineer in multidisciplinary electrotechnical projects.
• Experience with low and medium voltage switchgear, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure technical alignment between project disciplines and designs.
• Coordinate with project management, procurement, document control and site teams.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Review and guide engineering deliverables through the project lifecycle.
• Support engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of power distribution systems.
• Manage technical scope, quality, planning and engineering budgets.
• Visit factories and project sites to support testing and customer meetings.
