Job summary

Arup in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical subdiscipline on medium to large projects, designing power, lighting, distribution, and life-safety systems while ensuring quality, deadlines and budget. You will work in a multidisciplinary MEP team, collaborate with international colleagues, and apply Revit, Intelec, Dialux and Stabu.

Dutch and English communication skills required; HBO-level education and 6+ years of experience.

Qualifications

Completed HBO-level education in electrical engineering or building services.
At least 6 years of relevant work experience with project references.
Proven knowledge of project management (finance and quality) for medium to large projects.
Experience with discipline-relevant software such as Revit, Intelec, Dialux, and Stabu.

Responsibilities

Lead the electrical engineering subdiscipline for medium to large projects.
Design electrical installations including power, lighting, distribution, fire detection and evacuation systems.
Monitor quality, deadlines and budgets within the discipline.
Provide high-quality supervision during project execution and guide team members.
