Job summary

Arup in Amsterdam is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Building Services team. You’ll contribute to feasibility through to completion on projects across sectors, working with over 20 engineers and technicians in a collaborative, international environment.

You’ll apply sustainable design, BIM/Revit, and CAD tools, support low or zero carbon strategies, and grow your expertise while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Building/Mechanical/Energy) or similar.
• Experience with mechanical building services design for medium to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all stages of projects—from feasibility to completion—across sectors.
• Help clients progress toward zero carbon goals through innovative design.
• Support Arup’s digital transformation by exploring automation and integrated digital design solutions.
