Job summary

Arup in Amsterdam seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for medium to large projects within our MEP team. You will prepare design documentation, specify electrical systems, and ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence on diverse building projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, present designs to clients, and mentor junior colleagues while delivering sustainable, high-performing environments.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in Electrical or Building Services Engineering at HBO level or higher.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in electrical design for medium to large projects.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design and contract documentation for electrical installations.
• Design electrical services for complex building projects across sectors.
• Present projects and design solutions to clients and partners.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team and supervise junior staff.
