Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to drive electrical design, BOM creation, and cross-functional collaboration across software, mechanical, and procurement teams. The role focuses on translating customer needs into safe, manufacturable electrical solutions and providing technical leadership across projects.

You will develop and validate electrical designs, supervise test setups, and ensure documentation aligns with PCP.

Qualifications

• Translate customer requirements into electrical specifications and design intent.
• Create electrical schematics and BOMs aligned to customer specs.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and manufacturability.
• Lead and mentor engineers, liaise with software and mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical designs within project schedules and PCP guidelines.
• Develop test setups and protocols for validation.
• Support Assembly & Test and resolve issues on the installed base.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on component selection and cost.
