Job summary

Stoneridge is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to translate stakeholder needs into ECU system specifications and architecture. You will define subsystems, interfaces, and traceability from concept through development and validation, ensuring robust performance within the overall system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in automotive, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
• Experience translating requirements into technical ECU solutions and architecture.
• Proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools.
• Nice to have ASPICE, UNECE R46, MBSE, Functional Safety.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and business needs into clear, prioritized functional and non-functional system requirements.
• Develop and maintain system architecture, system elements, and interface definitions while conducting design reviews.
• Perform system modeling, simulations, and trade-off analyses to support technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including software, functional safety, cybersecurity, electrical and mechanical engineering, verification, and project management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and internal processes, including ECU System FMEA.
