Job summary

Cognite seeks a Business Development Director to drive supply chain growth across defined territories, leveraging Cognite Applications and the Cognite Data Fusion Platform to unlock enterprise value. You will lead cross-functional pursuit teams and build quantified ROI cases for C-level buyers in complex SaaS sales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing or industrial supply chain
• 7+ years direct or in-support SaaS sales to C-level executives
• Proven SaaS bookings track record across enterprise deals
• Experience in high-growth startup environments (Series A–C)
• Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted territory strategy to accelerate bookings
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional deal teams including pre-sales and tech experts
• Quantify ROI and present strong business cases to executives
• Partner with ecosystem to qualify and progress pipeline
• Negotiate pricing and terms with senior stakeholders
• Forecast bookings and maintain accurate account records in CRM
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing to feed market insights
