Job summary

ING is seeking a Senior Customer Journey Expert, Digital Assets in Amsterdam to lead the analysis, design and delivery of tokenisation and digital asset capabilities across payments and settlement services. You will translate business opportunities into concrete product requirements and work closely with engineering, risk, and compliance to deliver scalable, production-ready services.

The role requires 10+ years in product management or related fields, strong payments knowledge, and experience

Qualifications

10+ years' experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Payments, Financial Market Infrastructure, FinTech, or Digital Assets.
Proven track record delivering complex programmes in a regulated financial environment.
Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, correspondent banking, clearing & settlement, SWIFT/real-time payments, or financial market infrastructures.
Understanding of blockchain, stablecoins, tokenised deposits, wholesale CBDCs, smart contracts, custody, wallet infrastructure, and digital asset settlement models.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with European digital asset and payment regulations.

Responsibilities

Drive analysis, design and delivery of digital asset, tokenisation and distributed financial infrastructure capabilities within ING.
Translate business opportunities and market developments into concrete product requirements, operational processes and technology solutions.
Bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure commercially relevant, operationally sound solutions.
Deliver digital asset payment, settlement and liquidity capabilities including stablecoins, tokenised deposits and blockchain-enabled payment solutions.
Define end-to-end operating models, payment flows, booking models and settlement processes.
Drive backlog prioritisation, feature refinement and Agile delivery execution.
Coordinate stakeholders across business, operations, architecture, engineering, risk and compliance functions.
Support testing, implementation and operational readiness activities.
Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure solutions meet governance, security, risk and regulatory requirements.
Act as the primary product SME for payment and tokenised deposit use cases within Digital Asset.
