ING Wholesale Banking in Amsterdam is seeking a Product Manager for Merchant Services to own the performance and strategy of digital payments and cash management for corporate clients. You will define roadmaps, translate market input into requirements, and collaborate across Sales, Risk, Compliance, and Delivery to deliver value.

You will lead market research, build business cases, and drive cross-border initiatives while maintaining a customer-centric approach and strong commercial discipline.

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have at least three years of experience in the payments domain at a bank, payment service provider, cards acquirer, or card scheme organization.
• Bring solid knowledge and experience in cards acquiring, e-commerce, alternative payment methods, and in-store point-of-sale payments.

Responsabilités

• Improve ING Wholesale Banking’s Merchant Services proposition, representing the voice of the customer.
• Own day-to-day product performance and P&L, using commercial and financial insights to set priorities.
• Define and execute the product strategy, proposition, roadmap, design, commercial approach, and product life cycle.
• Create and track business cases, identify relevant performance data, and contribute to budgeting processes.
• Lead marketing, communication, and customer satisfaction activities for the products within your scope.
• Conduct market, competitor, and customer research across Europe to inform strategy.
• Translate market developments into concrete requirements for product development.
• Align with Sales, Client Services, Sector teams, and Delivery Management to support pitches.
• Monitor and update product policies and governance; manage non-financial risks.
• Work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Define business requirements and translate them for Delivery Management teams for QBRs.
