Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to own design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure. You will lead deployment automation and configuration management, and establish comprehensive monitoring across the stack.

You will collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure robustness, scalability, and security, while mentoring junior team members and staying current with the latest DevOps trends and tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related field.
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Hands-on with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience automating deployments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps infrastructure.
• Managing deployment, automation, and configurations of applications.
• Establishing monitoring protocols for infrastructure.
• Collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure robustness, scalability, and security.
• Implementing and administering issue-detection monitoring and alerting.
• Maintaining and improving build and deployment processes.
• Developing and maintaining documentation of systems and processes.
• Mentoring and training junior DevOps team members.
• Staying up to date with latest DevOps trends and technologies.
