Job summary

DEPT is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in the Netherlands to build and maintain next-level cloud platforms, set up CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with SREs to hand over operations. You will drive infrastructure migrations from sprint 0 to go-live and work with client teams to ensure secure, efficient deployments.

You will bring multi-cloud experience, IaC with Terraform, and strong DevOps tooling knowledge, while maintaining a focus on cloud security, networking, and English communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Multi-cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS and/or GCP).
• Experience with DevOps tooling for CI/CD, orchestration and monitoring (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Datadog, Cloudflare).
• Understanding of Cloud Security & Networking.
• Experience with Infra-As-Code (Terraform).
• Ability and ambition to take ownership of projects.
• Working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the infrastructure implementation/migration from sprint 0 to go-live.
• Collaborate to support smooth integration and long-term operational efficiency.
• Ensure best practices are established and deliver high-quality work.
• Collaborate with clients' teams to facilitate cross-team communication and seamless transitions.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues during implementation/migration.
