Roamler is a Dutch technology company seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI/ML platform team in Amsterdam (hybrid). You will own and evolve the machine learning and AI behind our outlet-data product suite and related platforms used by FMCG brands across Europe.

You will work with data engineers to move solutions from proof of concept to production, design LLM-based components, and optimize accuracy, cost, and latency while embedding ethics and governance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years as a Data Scientist.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLMs to production.
• NLP and embeddings expertise.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Spark/PySpark experience.
• AWS or Azure cloud services experience.
• AI agent frameworks or CV experience is a plus.
• Excellent English communication.

Aufgaben

• Add value by finding data solutions that fit the business problems we want to solve for our customers.
• Own and evolve our classical ML/NLP enrichment pipeline and the services that power all our data applications.
• Design, build, and run LLM-based components in production, such as enrichment, classification, and entity matching.
• Choose the right tool for the problem considering accuracy, cost, and latency.
• Define evaluation methods and quality metrics so ML output can be trusted.
• Collaborate with data engineers to move POCs into production.
• Write production quality code.
• Identify opportunities in the data lake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of the data science setup.
• Foster a collaborative team environment via code reviews and knowledge sharing.
