Job summary

MRL Consulting Group | Global Niche Technology Recruitment seeks a Principal NLP Scientist in Amsterdam to lead R&D and production-ready NLP/LLM initiatives for enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams, shaping technical direction, building scalable AI capabilities, and mentoring staff while staying ahead of NLP and generative AI advances.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, NLP, or related field.
• 8+ years in AI/NLP with production experience.
• 5+ years building NLP/LLM in production.
• Strong Python, PyTorch, Transformers expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, design, and development of NLP/LLM solutions for enterprise apps.
• Design models for NER, text classification, semantic search, and information extraction.
• Develop RAG, GraphRAG, embeddings, and knowledge graph solutions.
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and deploy Large Language Models for production.
• Define evaluation metrics and experimentation frameworks for NLP models.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists, providing technical leadership.
• Collaborate with software teams to integrate AI services into platforms.
