Basic-Fit is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to shape the data platform powering millions of workouts across Europe. You’ll join the central Data Platform Team, design and build scalable pipelines, and co-own architectural decisions while mentoring others.

You will drive performance, governance and cost optimization, migrate legacy pipelines to Databricks, and evaluate new capabilities to take them to production in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on Databricks experience in production.
• Strong SQL, PySpark and Python with maintainable, tested code.
• Experience building and running production pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Databricks Asset Bundles).
• Solid knowledge of data modelling, governance, security and cost optimisation on a cloud data platform.
• Experience contributing to architectural decisions or migrations and explaining trade-offs.
• Excellent communication skills in English; mentoring others is a bonus.

You will thrive here if most of this sounds familiar:3+ years of hands-on Databricks experience in productionStrong SQL, PySpark and Python, with a track record of clean, tested, maintainable codeExperience building and running production pipelines, both batch and streaming (e.g. Lakeflow/Delta Live Tables, Structured Streaming, Azure Data Factory)Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (e.g. Azure DevOps, Terraform, Databricks Asset Bundles)Solid knowledge of data modelling, governance, security and cost optimisation on a cloud data platformExperience contributing to architectural decisions or migrations, and explaining trade-offs to technical and non-technical colleaguesExcellent communication skills in EnglishBonus points: experience applying AI and LLMs to data engineering, keeping up with new Databricks features, mentoring other engineers, and Power BI or another reporting tool.What We Offer YouAt Basic-Fit, it’s not just about work, it’s about your growth.
