Job summary

Datashift in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Senior Data Lead to guide clients across their data journey, from platform choices to data quality and governance, joining our Rotterdam team.

You’ll mentor the consulting team, own end-to-end delivery of data projects, shape service offerings, and collaborate with our Belgian practice to stay sharp in the market.

Fluency in Dutch and English is required to communicate with stakeholders across client teams and executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a strong consulting background.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, AWS).
• Experience with data governance, tooling (e.g. Collibra) and practical governance adoption.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients on their data roadmap with a prioritized action plan.
• Lead and mentor the consulting team to enable growth.
• Drive end-to-end data project delivery across data platforms, quality initiatives, and governance.
• Shape service offerings with best practices and accelerators.
