Job summary

bol.com is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in its Advertising Analytics team. You will own analyses end-to-end, framing questions with stakeholders, building driver trees and financial narratives to explain ad revenue movements, and partnering with leadership, finance, sales, marketing, and business development.

You will dive deep into performance of advertising propositions, apply causal inference or econometrics where needed, and use AI to focus on higher-value work while coaching junior

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on analytics experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Ability to turn messy questions into shipped answers.
• Experience with causal inference or econometrics is a plus.
• Ability to own analyses end-to-end and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own analyses end-to-end: from framing a question to shipping the analysis.
• Build driver trees and financial narratives that explain advertising revenue movements.
• Dive deep into performance of advertising propositions and develop domain expertise.
• Apply causal inference, econometrics, or related methods where appropriate.
• Use AI to automate low-value repetitive parts of work and focus on high-impact analysis.
• Coach junior analysts on problem framing and technical craft.
• Write clean, scalable SQL and Python to solve real problems.
