You will act as a key contact for internal teams, customs authorities, and logistics partners to keep import and export activities smooth.

Formación

• Several years of experience as a Customs Declarant or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and documentation.
• Proven ability to prepare and submit declarations independently.
• Experience with import/export processes in air, sea, or road freight.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently under time pressure.
• Experience with IT/declaration systems and MS Office.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, solution-driven mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations accurately and within required deadlines.
• Gather, verify, and validate information required for customs and tax declarations.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve irregularities in customs documentation.
• Provide expert advice to internal teams and external partners regarding regulations and compliance.
• Ensure customs documentation and records are complete and up to date.
• Liaise with customs authorities when required.
• Monitor changes in customs legislation and implement them accordingly.
• Drive continuous improvements in customs procedures and compliance.
• Share customs knowledge with colleagues as needed.
