Job summary

OOCL Logistics Limited in Rotterdam is seeking a Customs Declarant to manage all customs documentation and liaise with Customs Offices, inspection agencies, and customers. You will prepare and check documents for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires an mbo+ level with a Declarant diploma, proven experience in a similar role, and strong Dutch and English communication. German and/or French knowledge is a plus.

• Proven experience as Declarant in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control all customs documentation.
• Maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholders such as Customs Offices, inspection agencies, and customers.
• Submit objections, adjustments and refunds requests.
• Gather necessary information for correct preparation of customs documentation.
• Check data accuracy and identify irregularities in customs.
• Perform VAT returns and processing of statistical data for tax representation.
