Job summary

NN Group Netherlands is seeking a Business Data Analyst within the Data Office to strengthen data governance and drive data-driven decisions. You will contribute to improving customer data value across units and enable better customer engagement throughout the lifecycle.

You will lead data governance initiatives, model data concepts, and advise stakeholders on data management topics while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.

Qualifications

• A relevant academic degree in a data-related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality or data management in a large organization.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices (DAMA-DMBOK).
• Familiarity with data standards/legislation in insurance/financial sectors.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Experience facilitating workshops and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collect, interpret and analyze bottlenecks and developments in data processes, tools and systems across domains.
• Promote change management and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Initiate and implement changes, automation and improvements for data quality and alignment of data management processes.
• Create logical data models, the business glossary and data directory.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders as a data management subject matter expert.
• Create, align and monitor data policies and standards.
• Analyze business and data impact on GDPR, DORA, and related regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with data management developments and share knowledge within the department.
