Job summary

Booking.com in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Controller to join the Global Accounting Team. You will own accounting for defined entities under US GAAP, local GAAP, and SOx compliance, focusing on Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, IDS, and Cloud Computing Arrangements.

Collaborating with Corporate and Regional teams, you will drive accurate financial reporting and process improvements. Ideal candidates have extensive SAP FA (FI-AA) experience, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to lead complex

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in finance and accounting in a multinational setting.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SOx with hands-on experience in Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, IDS and CCA.
• Ability to lead month-end close and reconciliations with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting for defined entities under US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Coordinate month-end closing and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Review monthly reconciliations and liaise with internal and external audits.
• Drive standardization, automation, and cross-functional process improvements.
