Job summary

Sire Search is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead on-site execution of CAPEX construction projects in the Netherlands. You will ensure safety, schedule and budget compliance while coordinating with engineering, procurement and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience managing industrial CAPEX projects and a strong track record in contractor management, site organization and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5–10 years' experience managing industrial construction CAPEX projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects safely on time and within scope.
• Strong contractor management and site-organization skills.
• Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations and project controls.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities for CAPEX projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors and vendors, ensuring safety, quality and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and operations to meet milestones and resolve technical issues.
• Oversee site logistics, permits, inspections and quality assurance processes.
• Monitor progress, report risks and performance metrics to stakeholders, adjust plans as needed.
• Support mechanical completion, commissioning and handover to operations.
• Ensure all work complies with EH&S regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate stakeholder communications, permits and daily site meetings, escalating issues when needed.
