Job summary

Reddit, Inc. in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Client Partner to grow our DACH ads business. You will identify new high-potential clients, own your book of business, forecast revenue and collaborate with Sales Ops to build an outbound pipeline.

In-person attendance at the Amsterdam office is required. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in online media sales, a strong DACH network, fluent German and English, and a proactive, self-starter attitude.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in online media sales (DACH preferred).
• Strong understanding of media landscape and a broad client network in DACH.
• Experience with New Business tools such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn, Salesforce, etc.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to new clients, establishing mutually beneficial relationships and educating them on Reddit and the Reddit ads platform.
• Act as the CEO of your book of business, and take full ownership of strategic bets, revenue forecasting, and ensuring operational rigor.
• Work with Sales Ops Lead to develop a book of business and outbound sales pipeline.
• Communicate feedback on our sales processes, narratives, and products to advocate for customers and improve team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to build mutually beneficial partnerships between your customer base and Reddit.

The Mid-Market international team is responsible for building the international ads engine outside of the US, onboarding & growing advertisers to achieve their marketing objectives with proven solutions and at pace globally.

Last year we launched our sales team in Amsterdam that is focused on growing our Mid-Market business in DACH. This is an opportunity for you to be part of the team that expands the Reddit footprint: design the strategy, develop a strong book of business, and bring the magic of Reddit into the DACH market! We're looking for a sharp, positive and motivated self-starter to help us build this team! New Business Client Partners will be responsible for seeking out new high-potential clients and building the foundation for mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships by aligning your clients' company goals with opportunities on the Reddit ads platform.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in online media sales (platform experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of the media landscape and broad network of clients in DACH
• Have relevant experience using New Business tools such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn, Salesforce etc.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, strong negotiation skills, and ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Experience with and passion for new business acquisition with proven equivalent work experience
• Motivated self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments
