Job summary

Reddit, Inc. in the Netherlands seeks an experienced Ads Policy Lead for Europe to drive the research and development of large-scale policies across Reddit’s global advertising platform.

This senior individual contributor role reports to the Head of Ads Policy and partners with Legal, Sales, Operations, Product, and Trust & Safety Policy to tackle high-impact challenges and scale responsible advertising.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in compliance, standards, or policy development with tech, digital platforms, or advertising.
• Autonomous ownership of complex policy projects in fast-paced environments.
• Deep international advertising/content policy expertise across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating policy into business terms.
• Ability to synthesize ambiguity into structured, risk-based decision documents.

Responsibilities

• Drive development, drafting, and maintenance of strategic advertising policies across Reddit's ads products in the Europe region.
• Draft risk assessments and strategic policy recommendations for senior cross-functional leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Act as a role model of Reddit’s Company Values and guide peers as a senior policy leader.
• Serve as the decision-maker on highly complex policy escalations, delivering definitive, risk-balanced rulings.
