Assurant in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist (Dutch speaker) to support the Dutch Claims team. You will handle claims, assist with escalations and fraud cases, onboard new staff, and help maintain service levels and quality standards.

The role is hybrid (3 days home, 2 days in the office) with a competitive base salary and bonus. You will work closely with the Team Lead on daily operations and continuous improvements.

Senior Claims Specialist (Dutch Speaker) Location: Amsterdam | Hybrid Working – 2 days office, 3 days home

Overview of Position

As a Senior Claims Specialist, you will play an important role within our Dutch Claims team. Alongside handling insurance claims and supporting customers, you will act as a key support to the Team Lead and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the operation. You will support colleagues with escalations, complaints and fraud cases, help onboard and train new team members, and contribute to maintaining service levels and quality standards across the team.

What You’ll Do

• Assess and resolve insurance claims.

• Act as a subject matter expert for complex claims and policy interpretation.
• Take ownership of escalated complaints, fraud investigations, and complex cases.
• Conduct quality reviews and provide guidance and feedback to colleagues.
• Assist with the onboarding and training of new starters.
• Work closely with the Team Lead to support daily operations, service levels, quality standards, and continuous improvements.
