Van Oord is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Work Preparation Engineer to lead execution planning for dike reinforcement and infrastructure projects. You will connect design, execution, and partners, ensuring feasible, innovative solutions that align with tender and project goals.

You bring 10+ years in civil engineering, a strong grasp of RAW/UAV-GC contracts, and experience with Primavera and 3D/BIM. Dutch and English proficiency are essential, with willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Bachelor's or Master's).
• At least 10 years of experience as Site Manager or Work Preparation Engineer in civil infra, preferably HWBP/KRW projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract types RAW and UAV-GC; proficient in Primavera/MS Project and 3D/BIM models.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Develop and describe execution methods and phasing plans; translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Coordinate execution preparation: earthworks balance, logistics, permits, requirements verification; align with stakeholders.
• Support tender and project management with schedules, work plans, and documentation; monitor progress and quality.
• Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers; ensure smooth project cooperation.
• Contribute to innovation and sustainability in project execution, e.g., circular methods and Zero Mission Equipment.
