Job summary

Van Oord is looking for a Medior Civil 3D Modeller based in Rotterdam to support tenders and projects in hydraulic engineering, port development and coastal protection. You will develop accurate 3D models and designs, translating design requirements into practical modelling solutions while guiding junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar technical discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience as Civil 3D modeller/engineer.
• Proven experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and its features (surfaces, corridors, profiles, grading, sections).
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior colleagues.
• Fluent Dutch and good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up, develop, and manage Civil 3D models for tenders and projects.
• Produce high-quality 3D models, designs, and technical drawings conforming to NLCS.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and specialists within international teams.
• Guide and coach junior colleagues on technical topics and daily project activities.
