Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Work Preparation Engineer to drive execution methods, planning, and coordination for large-scale dike reinforcement and infrastructure projects. You will connect design, execution, and stakeholders to deliver feasible, innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years' experience as Site Manager or Work Preparation Engineer in civil infra, preferably HWBP/KRW.
• Strong knowledge of RAW and UAV-GC contracts; planning software and 3D/BIM models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and describe execution methods and phasing plans translating client requirements into feasible technical solutions.
• Coordinate execution preparation activities: earthworks balance, logistics, permits and verifications; align with stakeholders.
• Support tender and project management with schedules, work plans and technical documentation; monitor progress and quality.
• Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers in collaboration with procurement; ensure smooth collaboration.
• Contribute to innovation and sustainability in project execution (circular methods, Zero Mission Equipment).
