Kramp in Varsseveld is seeking a senior Category Buyer for the Shop & Workshop category to shape supplier strategies and secure optimal commercial agreements. This hybrid role is based in Varsseveld with 2–3 office days per week.

You will build and optimize a best‑in‑class supplier portfolio, lead negotiations, manage performance, and collaborate with engineering to align on technical requirements. The role requires 5+ years in category buying, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
• 5+ years of experience in category buying, strategic sourcing or procurement of technical/engineered products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and optimize a robust supplier base aligned with category strategy.
• Guide subcontracting processes and collaborate with engineering on technical requirements.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contracts and performance discussions; drive improvements.
• Run benchmarks and tenders to secure cost-effective propositions and monitor cost drivers.
